WARNING: Residents have been warned that certain older Bosch dishwashers are being recalled as they could be a potential fire hazard. Fire service bosses in Devon say machines manufactured between 1999 and early 2005 - models purchased and used in the United Kingdom only – could pose a risk. The affected dishwashers are in the batch number range from FD 7901 to FD 8504. Those outside the stated range are not affected.“One of the concerns is that homeowners are not checking older dishwashers assuming the recall only applies to the latest models,” said a fire service spokesperson.
