A FIVE-year-old dog was rescued by Exmouth firefighters - after spending six hours stuck down a rabbit hole at Orcombe Point.Jack, a black Patterdale terrier, became trapped after chasing the rabbit, while being walked by his owner.The fire crew spent two hours digging out the dog before he was handed back to his owner unhurt.Exmouth firefighter watch commander Stefan Clark said his crew had to cut through a fence and undergrowth to reach the dog. "He was barking the whole time we were digging him out," he said. "As soon as he was out, he tried to get back in the hole again!
