Applications for postal votes or registering to vote must be received by April 20 while proxy voting applications need to be in by April 27.
To apply for a postal vote telephone 01395 517 402 to apply for a form. You can also apply by email by writing to: electoralservices@eastdevon.gov.uk
If you cannot get to your polling station on the day of an election and do not want to vote by post, you can appoint somebody else to vote for you.
This must be done at least six days before an election.
