Members of Exmouth in Bloom are giving residents the chance to find out what goes into getting the town looking its best.

A display detailing ‘A Year of Exmouth in Bloom’ has gone on show at Exmouth Library.

It will be in place until Saturday, August 12.

It explains the work, activities and fun involved in the group’s activities over the course of 12 months to prepare for South West in Bloom judging, which took place for this year’s contest recently.

Exmouth has won South West in Bloom gold every year since 2011, and this year has also been entered in the contest’s ‘champion of champions’ category.

South West in Bloom judges John Wheatley and Denise James were taken on a three-hour tour of the town last month.

The results of the competition are due to be announced in October.
