TWO men from Honiton used a 4 x 4 vehicle to rescue motorists stuck in snow on the Honiton to Dunkeswell road last night.Polio victim Albert Henshaw, 55, and his 64-year-old wife, Judy, who suffers from brittle bones, became trapped near the turning to Combe Raleigh en-route home to Dunkeswell from Exmouth.The couple had left a concert at Exmouth Pavilion at 10.10pm and notced heavy rain had turned to snow while driving across Woodbury Common."I was driving my Mobility car and Judy was panicking," said Mr Henshaw."We got off the A30 and started going up the hill to Dunkeswell, but got stuck."We saw a couple being towed and beeped to them."Mr Henshaw said the two men who towed the other couple home then returned for them."We are so grateful and would like to thank them," he said. "What they did was wonderful and came as a huge relief to us."We don't know their names but would like to thank them personally.
