County planners have been asked to approve the long-awaited completion of Dinan Way at a meeting next Wednesday (January 25).

Devon County Council’s development management committee will decide on planning permission for the scheme, to construct a new section of road around 830 metres long, between the existing Dinan Way and Hulham Road to the east, and the A376 to the west, around 150 metres north of Courtlands Cross.

Ahead of the meeting, county planning officers have recommended approval.

East Devon District Council previously backed the plan, but Lympstone Parish Council has objected.
