EAST Devon diabetics are invited to the next meeting of the Diabetes UK Exeter and District Group.
The next meeting will be on Thursday November 19 at 2.30 pm, at The Palace Gate Centre South Street Baptist Church Exeter.
The speaker will be Mrs Jean Duddridge and her subject will be "My Cuban Challenge".
A committee member of the Group, she marked 40 years of living with Type 1 diabetes by trekking into the interior of Cuba's highest mountain range and raising much-needed funds for local diabetes research.
All are welcome; you do not need to be a member to attend.
