An Exmouth-based wakeboard and waterski club has been recognised as the best ‘active experience’ in Devon.
Exe Wake was awarded Gold in the Visit Devon Tourism Awards 2020.
The awards, which celebrate excellence, were held as a virtual ceremony on Thursday (March 11) and attended by finalists from businesses all across the region.
Upon winning the award for best active experience, James Edge, operations director said: “After such a challenging year it’s fantastic to receive some positive news and we are delighted to have recognition for all the hard work we have put into the business.
Business director Ria Ball added: “It’s important for us to champion the very best of Devon and the lifestyle that can come with it so in recent years we have expanded our offer to include not just our core water sports but also floating yoga classes, pop up gin nights and private hire options at our on-deck bar.”
