Finalised plans for homes and regenerated sports pitches in Exmouth have been approved by East Devon District Council (EDDC).

Proposals for 23 age-restricted homes and upgraded sports facilities at the former Rolle College Playing Fields in Douglas Avenue had received outline planning permission last year.

Now, the council has approved a reserved matters application, which sets out details including the appearance of the homes, by developer Blue Cedar Homes.

A report on the reserved matters application by EDDC planning officers states that the proposed layout closely follows that of the outline application,

The proposal includes three football pitches – a full size pitch, a youth pitch, and a ‘mini’ pitch.

Members of Exmouth Town Council’s planning committee previously supported the reserved matters application.
