As an individual who has moved into Budleigh Salterton to retire from London, I must emphasise what a pleasant surprise it is to go into shops and receive such helpful and polite assistance.
I write this with particular regard to the Spar shop in Budleigh High Street, where the young men and women are always welcoming and helpful at the point of need and contribute to a generally friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
This can only reflect well on Budleigh Salterton as a whole and long may it continue!
