MORE than £2,300 was raised recently for charity in a 12-hour darts marathon by regulars at a Withycombe pub. Held at The Country House Inn, in Withycombe Village Road, the event raised money for the Huntington's Disease Association.The event was organised by Carol, Lisa and Michelle Clements, of Withycombe, with the help of family and friends.Huntington's Disease is a hereditary disorder of the central nervous system and usually develops in adulthood.A grand total was raised of £2,316.20 and Carol said: "The money was raised for a disease which has affected some people very close to us."A great day was had by all and we would like to thank Liz and Mike Eshun for all their hard work and everyone who supported us and raised money for the charity.
