Craft Festival: More than 30 local craft folk and designers will be selling their work in Topsham on Sunday, October 9.
The Falling Leaves Craft fair, organised by the Craft Hub is being held at Matthews Hall from 10am until 4pm.
There will also be a raffle and refreshments during the day.
Foot Tapping: A barn dance in aid of Stop Abuse for Everyone is being held at Matthews Hall tomorrow, Friday September 30.
Local Ceilidh band Mrs Midnights will perform during the evening.
The door and bar opens at 7.30pm, with the music and dancing from 8pm until 11pm. Tickets are £7, available on the door.
Friends Appeal: An appeal for donations of unwanted clothes, bric-a-brac, electrical items, toys and books has been made by a charity which cares for people living in Topsham.
The Estuary League of Friends said the goods can be dropped off at the charity shop, in Topsham High Street, 9.30am until 4.30pm, Monday-Saturday, or they can be collected.
The charity aims to improve the care and comfort of those living in the town.
In The Army: An evening hosted by Dad’s Army star Bill Pertwee is being held in Topsham on Saturday, October 1.
The event starts at 7pm and is being held at Matthews Hall where NAAFI style refreshments will be served, 1940s music will play and two episodes of the popular TV programme, Dad’s Army will be shown.
Tickets are £9 for adults, £5 for under-16s, available from Topsham News.
The evening has been organised as part of the Lord Mayor’s charity.
Topsham Print: If you would like to see your photograph of Topsham immortalised on the cover of the town’s community magazine, now is your chance to enter the annual competition.
The Estuary editor is appealing for prints of views, scenes or anything that represents Topsham.
The closing date for entries is November 30 and the lucky winner will see their work appear twice a year.

Don’t Be Alone: The Estuary League of Friends is holding an extended Christmas dinner this year and inviting all who face spending the festive season alone.
The dinner will be held on Christmas Day, 11am ready for 12 noon lunch, at Topsham Rugby Club.
Places are £14 per person.

Havison Music: Topsham plays host to the Exeter Electronic Organ Club on Thursday October 6.
Elizabeth Havison will be in concert from 7.30pm at Matthews Hall.
Big band, show tunes, light classics. Jazz and pop are among the programme on the night.
Tickets are £6 on the door.
