Cystic fibrosis fundraiser performs well

A FUNDRAISING long distance runner from Exmouth who completed the Belfast Marathon has raised more than �500 for charity.
Julie McCracken, of Capel Lane, crossed the finish tape after five hours and 20 minutes. The 45-year-old was running for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and has raised �750 so far.
"I am very sore," she said after completing the run. Julie said she hopes to raise around the �1,000 mark.
Cystic Fibrosis is a hereditary disease affecting the glands of the lungs, liver, pancreas and intestines.
