Staff at an Exmouth bank have got on their bike for Hospiscare - to round off a successful year of charity fundraising.

Members of staff at TSB spent two days ‘cycling to Lapland’ on an exercise bike in the branch, with sponsorship going towards the Tub Club strand of Hospiscare’s East Devon Day Centre appeal. TSB also raffled a Christmas hamper, bringing the total raised to £540.

This means the bank has raised £2,800 for charities this year, having previously supported FORCE Cancer Charity, causes linked to MS and Alzheimer’s disease, and the cancer treatment appeal for Exmouth mum Natalie Hurley.

Branch manager Derek Sowden thanked customers for their support, adding: “Every time we have done something they have been fantastic. They are so generous.”
