An Exmouth churchgoer has revealed that 'visions from God' are the inspiration behind a biblical display created by her group.

Suzanne Thomas-King and her husband Ian helped to set up The Exmouth Creative Crafts group, which currently has nine members and meets once a week at St Margaret and St Andrew’s Church in Littleham.

The group is currently showing how Jesus was resurrected three days after his execution, a story at the heart of Christianity. Exmouth Creative Craft members spent around 12 hours working on the cabinet.

Suzanne, 56, of Capel Lane, said: “The displays come from visions God has given to me. I merely direct people in the group about what he wants.

“What we do is a lot of fun. But we want the people who attend our group to go to church.

“I would like to thank everyone who helped us, as it is a team effort.

“The next display will be the flower show. The current display will run up until Easter and then it depends on how long it takes us to make the flowers.”

The cabinet is on display every Wednesday at St Margaret and St Andrew’s Church from 2pm until 4pm.
