Crealy Great Adventure Parks has donated 24 goats to Oxfam's African goat aid scheme which provides livestock to developing communities.
Through the sale of goats in the Animal Realms at Crealy Great Adventure Parks in Devon and Cornwall, Oxfam has purchased and delivered goats - on behalf of Crealy - to families in Africa, for farming.
Angela Wright MBE, managing director, said: "We are really proud of the achievements of our visitors in providing African communities with clean water through our Roundabout PlayPump attraction and now 24 goats in this fantastic Oxfam initiative.
"Crealy is a family run attraction for the benefit of other families so I am delighted we can extend this to families in the developing countries."
Oxfam purchases the goats on behalf of the donor, from local sources and distributes to selected families in villages and nomadic communities, providing them with both subsistence and ongoing income.
