Air ambulance called to collision near Clyst St George

A collision near Clyst St George this morning has caused the closure of one road and the attendance of an air ambulance, according to reports.

Devon and Cornwall Police reported at approximately 9:54am the A376 Exmouth Road southbound was blocked due to an incident involving a single vehicle near the B3179.

Police have now reported the incident is causing queuing traffic on Exmouth Road, both ways, between B3179 and A3052.

A witness at the scene also reported on social media that paramedics from Devon Air Ambulance were in attendance at around 10.10am, as well as two fire engines and four ambulances.
