THERE are not many people who can say being able to make crab lobster pots is among their list of skills.
But, as far as one Budleigh family is concerned, that is the case. Dave French and Gerald Mears are continuing a pastime used by generations of their family by making willow pots to catch lobsters.
Ranging in size from 12" to 22", the pots, which can also be used for indoor and outdoor ornaments, are all individually hand-made.
Dave said: "It is something that my uncle and I wanted to resurrect because it has been in the family for years.
"I believe there is only about six of us in the west country that can do this craft. It takes about five hours to make one.
