EXMOUTH Coastguard were mobilised after a couple were cut off by the tide while trying to walk from Exmouth Beach to Sandy Bay.
Officers and Exmouth RNLI Inshore Lifeboat rescued the stranded couple - one male and one female - after being found by the RNLI Beach Lifeguards.
They were rescued by the Lifeboat who took them back to the boathouse, where they were met by the Coastguard Officers.
