County candidates announced

The candidates have been finalised and nearly 600,000 people over the age of 18 in Devon will get the chance to go to the polls to determine who will lead Devon County Council and be responsible for kocal services on Thursday May 2, 2013.
County Council elections in England take place once every four years, and all 62 seats in Devon are up for grabs.
East Devon District Council will be responsible for organising and administering the election of 1 Councillor to each of the 11 County Divisions which fall within the East Devon boundary - four of these are in the Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton area.
The lone division outside of this boundary which will be reported by the Journal is the Exeter City Council-administered St Loyes and Topsham Division.
No independent candidates are listed as contesting any of these divisons.
The candidates up for election are as follows:
Budleigh Division: Labour and Co-operative Party, Tony Badcott; Conservative Party, Christine Channon; UK Independence Party (UKIP), Graham A Hooker; Liberal Democrats, Lesley Miszewska; Green Party, Roger P Saunders.
Exmouth Brixington and Withycombe Division; Green Party, Oliver Davey; Conservative Party, Jill Elson; Labour Party Stuart Fegan; UK Independence Party (UKIP) John A Hone; Liberal Democrats, Brenda O Taylor.
Exmouth Halsdon and Woodbury Division; Liberal Democrats, Tim Dumper; Conservative Party, Bernard Hughes; Labour Party, Lesley Johnson; UK Independence Party (UKIP) Patrick C McAndrew.
