On Friday, another envelope dropped through my door from EDDC. This, like the previous one, is asking me to support their campaign against the unitary proposals on the table from the Boundaries Committee.Having spent a fortune of our money already, this dreadful council is again wasting our time and money in what is probably a failed attempt to put their political points across as being the best for us.The Audit Commission and the Standards Board for England should be investigating this council and determining if it has, in fact, overstepped its responsibility to inform the electorate in this matter. If it was then found that they have done so, then councillors who authorised these expenses should be surcharged and made to repay the costs to the council from their own resources.Clive Allen,Pankhurst Close, Exmouth.
