AN environmental health officer from East Devon District Council will be listening to safety concerns over the Victoria Way workshops next week.
At the town's Regeneration and General Purposes Committee meeting on Monday Jill Wheller will discuss concerns over the storage of chemicals at the Victoria Way workshops.
It follows public health concerns because of spray painting in the open air next to homes, and follows a recent fire where cylinders exploded.
Cllr Gazzard has called for an 'urgent' health and safety audit and that 'nobody really knew' what chemicals were being stored.
