The town council has given its backing to a plan to fit dormer windows to a property in Budleigh Salterton.

The application, submitted to East Devon District Council (EDDC), would also see alterations to the roofs of bay windows at 12 East Terrace.

Budleigh Salterton councillors voted to support the application.

The council also voted to support an application for a two-storey extension at 12 Moorlands Road.

The final decision on both applications will be made by EDDC planners
