Conservation, yes please

I was appalled a council representative should have the gall to call him/herself a conservation officer when he/she focusses on the fine detail of an otherwise gigantic change to a quaint beach hut-style eatery, namely the Longboat Cafe.

Em, hello, a massive building is being proposed. How do these people get these jobs?

The conservation officer has changed his/her mind about the 'over-dominant' character of the Longboat development, but very little has changed.

The new proposal will turn a quaint, seaside, shanty-style cafe into something resembling a public toilet, if the artist's impressions are anything to go by.

Will a real conservation officer please stand up. Please stand up!

Knowle, (via email).
