A concert at the Bicton Inn, Exmouth, raised funds for victims of an earthquake in Nepal.
The event, put on by musicians Ben and Esther Cochrane, raised more than £1,000 for the Nepal Earthquake Appeal.
Their own group, The Balcony Band, featured in the line-up along with 10 other musicians.
A number of collections were made during the afternoon and evening and the event ended with the announcement that more than £1,000 had been raised.
Himalayan restaurant Namaste provided a buffet on the night and their Nepalese staff thanked everyone for their efforts by singing some of their home nation’s traditional folk songs.
The money secured will now be added to the amount raised by Malcolm Horton, in a concert the previous Saturday at the Bicton Inn, and funds which Ben and Esther have raised through the online website JustGiving.
The couple said they are incredibly grateful to all those who donated, performed and helped with the event and issued a big thank-you.
