Following a very successful concert at St Peter's Church, Budleigh Salterton, on the evening of December 6, during which there was a splendid performance of the famous, but seldom performed, 40 Part Motet, Spem in alium, by the early English composer Thomas Tallis, we have been able to send £2,000 to Unicef to support their essential work with children in many parts of the world, in particular in the Democratic Republic of the Congo at the present time.

We wish to thank all those who supported this event to produce this spectacular result.

Chris Parrish,

Chairman, St Peter's Music.
