Concerns over planning changes

I wonder if the residents of East Devon know that planning applications may have been submitted to EDDC without the public knowing any details and therefore unable to make comments. Apparently someone within the council has decreed that the usual notices

I wonder if the residents of East Devon know that planning applications may have been submitted to EDDC without the public knowing any details and therefore unable to make comments.Apparently someone within the council has decreed that the usual notices on lampposts, letters to neighbouring properties and information in the local paper need not occur. There is also a doubt whether the relevant town/parish council and the highways department (where necessary) are always notified in a timely manner. The three-week period for writing to EDDC and the town/parish council is therefore basically a sham. Thanking you in advance,A Concerned Resident.
