While we are on the subject of cats fouling gardens, what about the dogs' mess on Woodbury Common. There is so much everywhere you go. My son and I love walking over the common, but I am forever saying to him to mind where he is walking. Why do dog owners think they do not have to pick up after their pets and dispose of it, because it is common land? It's a disgrace. You go to any car park and it is full of people who have dogs - and I would not mind betting that 90 per cent of them do not clear up after their dog.Wendy Blackham,(via email)
