BUDLEIGH Salterton town planners have backed a bid to build a new home in Sherbrook Hill.
The owners of land adjacent to 11 -13 Sherbrook Hill, Clinton Devon Estates, said they also wanted to build a garage.
However the land has a eucalyptus tree and town planners welcomed both Clinton Devon Estates' and East Devon District Council's 'commitment to ensuring the continuing health' of the tree.
The plans will now be considered by district planners.
