I would just like to bring to the attention of the sporting public of Exmouth, what is happening at Exmouth Town FC.

They have an enthusiastic committee, backed by an equally good social committee, which strive to keep the club financially sound.
Not so long ago, Town were competing in the Western League, step five in the pyramid system, which is four steps off The Conference!
They now ply their trade in the South West Peninsular east division and the Second`s in the Devon & Exeter.
Under the new management team of Jody Bolt and Mike Gibbons, they have put together a team which is very competitive, with mostly local lads. At the time of this letter, they were unbeaten in four and climbing to the top half of the table.
I urge all you footie fans in and around Exmouth to pop down to Southern Road on match day. The fixtures are printed in the sports pages of the Journal or outside the ground. There is an admission price, which is set by the league.
I just think with a town the size of Exmouth, we could, and should, be competing at a higher level.
So why not give it a go next match day?
