COLATON Raleigh's annual parish meeting is at 7.30pm on Monday April 27 in the village hall.

People living in the area are invited to attend the meeting where the year's parish news will be highlighted before a talk is given by the Community Council of Devon on parish plans.

A spokesperson for the parish meeting said it was hoped residents would show their support by attending and give their input to help shape the future of Colaton Raleigh.

The spokesperson said: "Many rural communities in Devon have already written a parish plan.

"It is a unique opportunity for a community such as Colaton Raleigh to look at its concerns and interests through a structured consultation process that is driven and carried out by the community.

"When completed, it will lay out key issues, desired outcomes and priority issues with time frames for the community.
