People will have the chance to bid on pledges of self-catering accomodation and a print by Colaton Raleigh’s internationally-renowned artist Alan Cotton on Friday, September 22.

An auction of goods and promises is being held in Colaton Raleigh to raise funds for the village church.

People will have the chance to bid on lots donated by members of the community and businesses, including household furnishings, fire wood and pledges of self catering accommodation and bed and breakfast.

Colaton Raleigh’s internationally-renowned artist Alan Cotton has donated a limited edition print signed and presented by the man himself.

There will also be a four-course Sunday lunch for two, donated by the Victoria Hotel, in Sidmouth, for people to bid on.

The auction begins at 6.30pm on Friday, September 22, with viewing of the lots available from 3pm.

There will be a bar and a refreshments stall available at the event being held at Colaton Raleigh Village Hall.
