VOLUNTEERS are needed to join the Exmouth Coastwatch station.
New members, men and women, are sought to join the town's branch of the coastwatch institution which operates from the tower above the Harbour View caf� on the seafront.
A spokesperson for Exmouth coastwatch said people were needed to keep watch for persons in difficulty on the water and beach.
He added: "You need good eyesight, common sense and to be able to give four hours per week in the summer and four in the winter."
