Coastguard helicopter rescues two teenagers trapped on cliffs at Sandy Bay

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 3 - THE coastguard helicopter last night winched to safety two teenagers who were stuck on the cliff face at Sandy Bay.

THE coastguard helicopter last night winched to safety two teenagers who were stuck on the cliff face at Sandy Bay.

The pair, thought to be staying at the Devon Cliffs holiday park, had been walking along the coastal path near the Straight Point firing range when they became stuck.

The male and female teenagers were winched to safety at around 7pm by the helicopter and taken to Sandy bay Beach where they were met by Exmouth coastguards who gave the pair safety advice.
