Co-op truck was left in a tight space following pub collision

Police attended a stuck HGV in Topsham on Saturday, (April 22) after it struck a pub.
Devon and Cornwall police were called out at 9.55am to manage traffic congestion after a Co-operative lorry hit the wall of The Lighter Inn in Fore Street.
A police spokesman said: “No injuries were sustained and details were exchanged between the driver and landlord.
“Police attended to manage traffic as the road had been blocked.”
Road closures and diversions were removed at 10.55am
Topsham ward representative, Councillor Rob Newby, said: “This is the first one for a long time that has got himself stuck.
“Until I find out from The Co-operative if they have changed the truck size then I can’t comment.”
