The classic vehicle event in Exmouth raised almost £1,500 for charity

A classic vehicle event in Exmouth has raised £1,476 for the Devon Air Ambulance Trust.

The annual Exmouth Classic Vehicle Gathering held on the Imperial Recreation Ground, took place on Sunday, August 19, and was organised by a team of eight from the Morris Minor Owners Club, Devon Branch.

Classic car and motorbike fans enjoyed displays from Exeter Classic Motorcycle Club, BMW Car Club South West Region, MX 5 Owners Club South West Region, Devon Vintage Car Club and the MG Rover South West Owners Club.

MMOC spokesperson Nickie Tilley said: “We estimated that over 250 vehicles were on display, so this was certainly one of our largest gatherings in the 15 years we have been staging this informal event.”

Next year’s event will be held on August 18.
