YOUNG children have been burning off their energy and learning new skills by attending pre-school activity classes.
Organised by Lions Den, a mixed martial arts training centre, based on Pound Lane, Exmouth, the sessions are aimed at youngsters aged from two-and-a-half and upwards.
Head coach Dave Matthews, said the classes called Lion Cubs, which have been running since the start of the year, helped build a child's social skills, confidence, coordination, balance, control and fitness.
He added: "They also prepare a child for school by developing their memory and listening schools.
