Missing Exmouth child has been found

Jodie James, 12, was reported missing on Monday, October 30, but police say she has since been found.

Police were asking people to be on the look out for a 12-year-old who has gone missing in Exmouth.

Devon and Cornwall Police said Jodie James was last seen at around 8.30am on Monday, October 30.

She is described as being white, around five foot three inches tall with a slim build and long curly blonde hair.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman added: “She wears black rimmed glasses and was last seen wearing her school uniform: navy jumper with school emblem, white shirt, blue tie with green stripes, black skirt and black tights. She is likely to have a mint green rucksack.”

Police were concerned for her welfare and needed to locate her.

Update: A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman said Jodie has since been found.
