A CHARITY dog walk for pooches trapped in war-torn Afghanistan is being held on the last day before they are banned from Exmouth's beaches for the summer.
Tracy Evans of Clean Cuts Home Grooming and Helen Newton of Tired Paws are organising a sponsored dog walk to raise money for local charity Nowzad on April 26.
The charity rescues and helps dogs caught up in Afghanistan, and it promises to be popular with last year more than 30 people and 20 dogs took part.
Tracy said: "No one walks alone, a wonderful social event for dogs and their owners. "This year the Harbour View have offered each participant a free tea or coffee to start them off, a big thank you to them for this.
