A CHARITY is urging Exmouth people to help raise �8.3m – by drinking coffee.
Macmillan Cancer Support wants people from the town to take part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event this September to raise money to fund new cancer services.
There were more than 900 coffee mornings held in Devon last year, raising �135,000.
Judith Jolly, Macmillan’s area fundraising manager, said: ‘Macmillan is there to help from the moment someone is diagnosed with cancer and the support they provide is vital, not only for the patient but the family too.”
