The annual St Margaret’s Church flower festival has once again proved a success after raising more than £2,000 for good causes.

This year’s festival was themed around ‘creation’, and featured 46 displays, produced by residents, businesses and voluntary organisations, which visitors enjoyed over three days.

Festival co-ordinator Mary Grinyer said: “We had hundreds and hundreds of people come through. We sold every bit of food we had and people were having a lovely time and eating out under the trees in the churchyard.

“It was a very happy occasion, and people said it was good to see everyone in Topsham taking part.”

The money raised will be divided equally between church funds, and the Topsham-based charity Estuary League of Friends.
