Residents at a Budleigh Salterton nursing home have celebrated the Queen’s 90th birthday.
They were joined by friends, relatives and Bay Court Residential and Nursing Home staff for the party.
Guests were greeted and served drinks by matron Samantha Smith.
Party-goers also dressed in the colours of the British flag and shared stories of the Queen’s coronation in 1953. Residents also toasted the monarch.
Dr Ian Conway, who co-owns the West Hill nursing home, said: “I am delighted that today has been such a success.
“Our kitchen staff have produced a delicious lunch.
“Carers and nurses, as well as activities and housekeeping teams, have thoroughly enjoyed themselves planning and preparing for the occasion.”
