Devon's biggest food and drink festival was launched at Darts Farm with a brunch cook-off challenge between Michael and James Dart who challenged Chris Tanner, of Plymouth's Tanner's Restaurants, and Lee Holland, head chef at the Barbican Restaurant.The festival, during October, has 100 events across the county.The Plymouth chefs won the Ready, Steady, Cook style contest.Chris Tanner said: "The Celebration of Food is a fantastic idea. For the entire month it provides a positive focus for the stunning drink that is produced and served throughout the South-West."As part of the festival, Darts Farm will be hosting a local food heroes dinner today (Thursday).For more information phone (01392) 878228.
