Exmouth police are appealing for help to identify the male who can be seen on the right of these CCTV images.
The police would like to speak to the man who is being served in both images, which have been taken from a supermarket’s CCTV.
In one of the photographs, he is shown wearing a cap.
Officers said a number of hoax phone calls have been made to the police, fire service and local businesses in the Exmouth area.
The police believe the man shown in the images may be able to help them with their enquiries.
Anyone with information about the man’s identity is asked to contact PC Claire Dye at Exmouth police station on 08452 777444, quoting crime reference KE/10/2807.
