It seems to me short-sighted of Bob Jasper and George Saints (February 5) not to realise that the actual profits from a proposed ASDA will not stay in Exmouth, but will mostly be funnelled back to the Walmart corporation in America. If we spend our money in an ASDA, therefore, we will not gain as much from our cash as we do if we shop in Exeter Road.Carol Mulholland,(via email).
