GARDEN enthusiasts from Exmouth are preparing for an annual fundraising plant sale. The event, to be held at Bystock Court care home, on Old Bystock Drive, takes place on Monday, May 4 between 10am and 2pm. Lynn Lockwood, registered home manager, said all the plants to be sold had been grown by the residents and the proceeds would go to their social fund. She added: "We sell plants in our large garden unit all year round. The sale is a major day in the calendar of events we have. The residents are proud of what they have done in caring for the plants and will be pleased to sell them. Bird boxes and tables they have also made will be on sale."A number of residents including Andrew Howard, Robert Hadfield and Katie Parker, have achieved a level one status in NVQ horticulture. If you would like more information about the plant sale, contact Steve Martin, garden manager, on 01395 266605.
