May I take this opportunity to thank you for publicising the FriendsUK Social Group's Charity Duck Race on Saturday, which was a great success.
The event raised �1,012 for the RNLI, which reflects the kind generosity of local people and visitors.
I would also like to thank the Mayor of Exmouth, Darryl Nicholas, for being on hand to start the duck race and the Exe Sailing and Powerboat School members for their assistance in escorting the ducks to the finishing line.
The winning duck was No 100, sponsored by a lady named Jessica. She will receive a VIP tour of the new Exmouth Lifeboat Station with three of her family and friends.
