The Beacon C of E Primary School PTFA were delighted to be able to present a cheque for £2,491.81 to the school at Morning Worship during the last week of the summer term.The whole sum will go towards the much-needed school library refurbishment fund.This was raised at 17 PTFA events held over the past year. The largest contribution, £1,046.52, came from the Summer Fayre held on June 28.Thanks go to all those people who organised and helped at events and to all those who supported them.Angie Webster, committee member, handed over the cheque.
