PARAMEDICS were called to provide medical assistance to two drivers after their cars skidded in separate incidents on the frosty B3180 road in Woodbury Common.
The incidents, which both happened at around 8am this morning, March 4, near Woodbury Park Golf and Country Club, involved one car skidding and landing in a ditch while the other landed in a field.
Long tailbacks ensued as the police and ambulance service attended the scene.
Sergeant Nick Southern, of Exmouth police, said, luckily neither of the drivers sustained any major injuries.
With cold temperatures set to continue over the weekend, Sgt Southern warned motorists to take extra care while out driving.
