Carousel Childcare has re-opened in Budleigh Salterton, 12 months after relocating to Exmouth.

After a year away, a care service for children under the age of four has returned to Budleigh Salterton.

Some 12 months after being forced to leave their previous home on the grounds of St Peter’s Primary School, Carousel Childcare has re-opened in the town.

The nursery this week opened its doors at the Budleigh Salterton Hospital Hub at the town’s former hospital.

Manager Sarka Andersonova said its ‘exciting’ to be back.

Parent Glenda Eagle said: “It’s lovely to have a local facility back in Budleigh.”

In their new home Carousel will be partnering with Age Concern to allow children and elderly residents to have lunch together.

The nursery will also be running a holiday club from December 18 for parents who want to do last minute Christmas shopping.

The nursery will be open Monday to Friday, from 7.30am to 6pm.

• Carousel will be holding open days for parents on Saturday (November 11) from 10am until noon and again a week later on Saturday, November 18.
